Learn moreThis board is perfect for anyone looking to head out on longer paddling adventures, its thickness and length offers a fantastic balance between stability and manoeuvrability. It also offers a great opportunity for heavier paddlers to get out on the water, or parents looking to share a board with their kids. The board is 11ft in length with a 6-inch thickness providing incredible stability compared to other boards on the market. It can be used on both flat water and the sea making it the perfect all-round board. This board is perfect for anyone over 70kg, anyone below that weight should use our smaller Original ISUP. A brilliant feature of this board is that it can take more than one person meaning children can join on a paddle or couples can paddle together. This board goes from backpack to water in minutes.
Learn moreSarah Whiteley grew up looking over Saunton Sands, right between Croyde and Braunton. After years at the top of the competitive surfing game (British and European Champion), she decided to return to her roots and give something back to the sport by setting up Walking on Waves Surf School. Chances are you could get lessons from one of Britain’s most successful female surfers. I believe in, and take pride in, working with surfers at all levels – from first attempt to competition coaching. There’s a joy that comes from seeing someone stand up for the first time that invigorates me every time. Equally, there’s a sense of fulfilment at helping someone nail a manoeuvre that they’ve been working on for 3 months.
Learn moreTotally unique experience offered with this trip. Take off and climb away using our 80hp Rotax engine and upon reaching 1 mile above sea level we will slowly reduce power and allow the engine to gently cool down. After about a minute of cooling we will stop the engine completely and become a proper glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. This should give us 15-20 minutes of silent engineless flight or more if we can find some thermals and go soaring with the birds.
